Hoagie Salad

Makes one large salad | Total Cook Time: 15 minutes

Hoagie Salad


6-8 cups chopped and washed romaine lettuce (or any leafy green of your choosing)

3/4 cup shredded carrots

3/4 cup chopped cucumber

3/4 cup chopped plum tomatoes

1/2 cup chopped salami

1/2 cup chopped marinated artichokes

1/2 cup chopped banana peppers

1/2 cup cubed cheddar cheese (cubed small)

1 chopped avocado

1 15 ounce can rinsed and dried chickpeas

Served with store-bought Hoagie Dressing


  1. Add all of your ingredients to a large salad bowl and combine. After it's combined, season with salt and pepper and toss again. Dress the salad with the Hoagie Dressing and enjoy!

Notes from the Chef

If you can't find the store-bought Hoagie Dressing at the grocery store, recipe is below-

Mix together 1 cup olive oil, 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar, 1 minced clove of garlic, 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard, 1 teaspoon parmesan cheese, 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper, and salt and pepper. Combine and enjoy!
